We're all here to enjoy the series as a community. Please keep posts related to the Fable series (We wouldn't ban anyone for accidental spamming, but we might ask you to stop) Please do not spam, feel free to post most anything Fable, but make sure the subreddit isn't just your LP for the past month. (If you deliberately troll you will almost certainly be banned) Keep in mind proper Reddiquette and don't be overly attacking/mean with your posts. Whether it be discussion about Fable, Fable II, Pub Games, Fable III, Fable: Heroes, Fable: The Journey, Fable Legends, Fable Fortune, or the new game - all discussion is welcome. Time to see how to get money back for Steam games. This subreddit provides a space for fans of the newly announced Fable game from Playground Games as well as the original Lionhead's series of games. Well that sucks, guess I can't play this game then. I would imagine if this occurs on Fable TLC too, it's something hardcoded into the game 10 years ago :/ The only way to fix it will be for users to manually set their My Documents back to their HDD. In the next build there will be an error message shown if the game discovers My Documents is mapped to a network, so at least anyone else encountering this will know what the problem is. We investigated this yesterday, unfortunately it's not something we can fix right now (the coder who reproduced the issue also had to spend ages editing his registry to remap everything back!). So far in my Steam library of 200 games the only ones that don't work with redirected documents:ĭragon Age Origins (DLC can't be seen as available for download)įable TLC (Tells me when starting that you can't use it with redirected documents)įable III (Lies about having created a save and corrupts your character without saving anything) It's simply using the group policy document redirection to a shared folder.
